Welcome to our new website, I guess it is a blog . . . but that sounds way to high tech and modern for Mommy! Once we get this up and running, I will try to post pictures and stories more often.
Cornelius has had a wonderful summer. In June he turned one, and we celebrated with lots of family and friends. We had a wonderful photographer come out to the house and take pictures, it was a fun afternoon, and we got so many real life shots. But when you have the most photogenic baby ever, pictures are always fun!

We started work on the carriage house again. So, if anyone feels like chipping paint you are welcome to come join us :-)
Cornelius gets the tough job, he has to baby-sit Grandma, while Grandpa & Daddy work.
While Grandma was watching Cornelius, he decided to empty all of his toys out of his basket and jump in!Such a funny little boy!
Cornelius got new shoes and a new hair cut. Doesn't he look like a big boy! This morning he was ready to go as soon as he saw his backpack, but he wasn't so ready to go once he got to "school". ...
Yesterday we went out to Great Grandma's to celebrate her 92nd Birthday!
Great Grandma is still as young as she was at 91!

Lindsey and Cornelius got to play outside for awhile while we were at Great Grandma's. Lindsey blew lots of bubble and Cornelius watched and popped a few.
Lindsey spotted the deer in the neighbor's yard, and Cornelius was ready to take them for a ride! (Giddy up!)
I'll write about everything later . . . we are having a blast!
Cornelius is 15 months old an growing! We visited the doctors office so now we have updated stats:
Weight: 23 lbs 3 oz
Length: 30"
He's still not breaking any records on his height and weight, instead he is staying on a nice curve close to the 20th percentile. The doctor says Cornelius is a brave and happy little boy! We think he is perfect.

Tonight we are at home relaxing and watching a little...
Last weekend we took a crazy car trip across Nebraska. All of my friends from way out in no-where Nebraska joke that Omaha kids think the world is still flat, so if you go past Grand Island you might fall off the edge. Well, us being the daring Omahans we are, we thought we would test that logic . . . and we went to North Platte (and we lived to tell about it!).

Well we have officially entered fall, and tonight the cool breeze certainly is making it feel like it! I can hardly wait for more leaves to fall so Cornelius can jump in the pile . . . the hard part will be getting him to stop!
The Carriage House is officially painted! With the exception of a little trim work here and there, we now have a very white Carriage House! YEAH! Cornelius has been such a great helper with the painting project. When Daddy and the Grandpas are painting, Cornelius insists on helping. So he gets out a dry...
This Tigger Puppy has a very indecisive mommy, we are just lucky that mommy stopped with only two costumes, if Halloween took any longer to get here Cornelius might have ended up with three or four costumes, either way we think he is the cutest little monster around!
We have had a very fun fall. We went to Vala's pumpkin patch with mommy's work. It was a little overwhelming for Cornelius, but he sure had fun watching the big kids. We rode on the family bike, Cornelius rode the big tricycle, we ate with all of the KPMG people, and then...
